De La Hoya against Manny Pacquiao in the MGM Grand
The LV event most boxing aficionados have been dying to see is finally taking place this week. The Golden Boy will battle one of the world’s present finest fighters, Pacquiao. This boxing match is on schedule for Saturday, December 6th in the MGM in Sin City.
Definitely there has been many rumors in Sin City about this boxing match. The Golden Boy has dropped down to 147 lbs. to contend as a welterweight, and people say that De La Hoya might not be as strong since the weight drop. Manny Pacquiao has previously boxed one time as a lightweight and has a desire to continue in the welterweight class. Manny Pacquiao is also the current champ in the lightweight division , and is regarded by many experts to be the best boxer at the moment.
This is Oscar’s first trip back to Las Vegas for a boxing match ever since he clashed with Floyd Mayweather Jr. in May of 2007. This fight is without a doubt a sell-out for the MGM Grand Garden Arena Vegas.
