After almost a entire year of no activity, the Mirage Megaresort’s renowned volcano will be reborn bigger and more amazing than ever before. The well-known LV hotel is doing their best to draw as many tourists as feasible to take a look at their transformation.

This New Year’s Eve, the daredevil Robbie Knievel will have a crack at a motorcycle jump over the Mirage Hotel and Casino’s artificial volcano. This jump will celebrate the conclusion of a 3-year overhaul of the Sin City hotel-casino. Throughout this period, the LV casino-hotel has invested over $110 million renovating their rooms and suites.

The upcoming New Year’s Eve act is supposedely Knievel’s last in the United States. The feat will continue for 5 minutes and have fireworks and a state of the art soundtrack. The music for the stunt has been composed by Grateful Dead drummer Mickey Hart. Robbie Knievel is the son of the deceased Evil Knievel-the first and most renowned daredevils.

The Las Vegas Mirage was built in 1989 by Vegas industrialist Steve Wynn and was considered Las Vegas’ first megaresort. This overhaul is one of a huge number on the LV Strip lately. This hotel hopes that this presentation will attract a great amount of sightseers to the LV hotel and casino. The idea behind the reconstruction is to compete with other popular LV megaresorts like the Bellagio hotel-casino.
